Host actor and comedian Vhong Navarro was discharged from the hospital on Thursday afternoon, February 6, 2014 and he will go directly to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
The news was revealed to the viewing public first by It’s Showtime co-host Kim Atienza during the opening of the noontime variety show on the same day. The “Matang Lawin” host hinted that there will be a “breaking news” about the 37-year-old Vhong Navarro later today.
The alleged victim of the mauling incident at the Fort Bonifacio, Vhong Navarro is expected to appear at the Department of Justice to subscribe to his supplemental complaint-affidavit vs. Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo and those who were involved in attacking him last January 22, 2014.
Based upon the media footage seen on-screen live on national TV, Vhong Navarro can walk right now and was heavily guarded by the members of the PNP and the National Bureau of Investigation from St. Lukes Medical Center on their way to DOJ. Fans and supporters of Vhong Navarro were glad to see that the actor is now on stable condition.
